Chocolate Hummus

Recipe

A chocolate snack packed with protein and flavor that pairs well with apple slices


Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas with liquid

  • 1/4 cup creamy natural peanut butter

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1/3 cup cacao or cocoa powder

  • 2 T coconut oil

  • 1 t vanilla

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to blender or food processor. (for smoother hummus, use a high-speed blender).

  • Process until smooth.

  • Refrigerate to thicken.

  • Serve with apple slices for a great snack.
