Cranberry Fruit Salad

Recipe

This is a wonderful and refreshing salad for your holiday meals that everyone is sure to enjoy!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cranberries – pour boiling water over and set for 10 minutes, drain

  • 1 t orange zest

  • 1 orange – peeled and cut into bite-size pieces

  • 1 tart apple – peeled, cored and diced

  • 2 ripe pears – peeled, cored and diced

  • 1 ½ cups seedless grapes – halved OR use raisins

  • ¾ cups fresh pineapple cut into bite-size pieces

  • ½ cup pecan halves

  • 1/3 cup raw honey or maple syrup

  • 1 t cinnamon

  • ¼ each ginger and allspice

Instructions

  • Use organic ingredients as much as possible

  • Prepare each fruit as directed above

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well

  • Cover and chill until ready to serve
